Costume Design
Since graduating from Catholic University’s Drama Program, Shannon has developed a unique and varied resume in wardrobe and costuming. Shannon worked for two years as the costume shop design assistant at American University, wardrobe styled bands for Music Videos and Tours, managed a dreamy high end bridal boutique where she learned the ins and outs of the wedding gown industry, has taken on projects ranging from Massive Musicals on Shoestring Budgets at Community Theaters in New England, to assisting lead designers on professional regional productions, designing for theatre for young audiences, overhire positions at her Alma Mater, coloring and cutting actors’ hair, styling wigs, taking on commissions for DC’s own Miss Adams Morgan Pageant, and, most fun of all, putting her talents to use creating epic Halloween Costumes for her children.
